I have been using CustomsForge since 2021. Everything has worked well till now. I moved and didn't turn on my computer for about 3 months. I have started using it again. Since I have started back, my library only loads with about 20 CDLCs. I can't get any more to appear. I have tried removing all CDLCs for the past year but still the same few show up. I have Steam marked to not go on-line. But my computer did a major update and don't know if that setting got changed. I am not very computer savvy. I have greatly enjoyed the Customsforge, thank you for your help.

Hi, I'm having trouble converting the rs1compatibilitydisc_p.psarc and rs1compatibilitydlc_p.psarc files from PC into Xbox. I have set the configurations for RS2012 and the correct platform but I keep getting errors. See attachments for details. Sorry if this has been covered before but does anyone know any fix? Thanks!!!

Was just looking at coldrampage's post in this thread below, but apparently I cannot reply there to add this question of mine: I must have CDLCs in my collection that are affected by the "dead tone" problem, but it's hard to figure out all of them, especially because playing the bass means that often tones aren't very different from no tone at all. So I usually notice the tones have died only when I start playing a CDLC that has been pitch shifted, and hear that the notes are now all wrong... by which time who knows what was the previous CDLC that killed everyone's tones 😅 coldrampage suggests that such CDLCs can be fixed by adding tones using the CFSM. But can…

I have an extremely cluttered collection of AC/DC cdlc's accumulated from here over the years. The biggest issue is that there are several different values on these files in the AlbumSort field in CFSM. I should be able to edit song information in CFSM and then save it with the new value right? Nope. Whenever I modify for example any given file from AC DC to AC/DC and then click save, it modifies it back to the original value of AC DC. This is rather frustrating; I've even tried changing the dlc, steam, Program Files (x86) folder's Read Only settings to off. That makes no difference, CSFM still reverts it back to the original. Super grateful if anyone kno…

Problem has only developed as I'd added a bunch of new CDLC only 3 days ago without issue. Launch CFSM after adding new CDLC to the folder and it hangs while parsing the new track, cancelling hangs also. Doesn't seem to be a particular CDLC as I've tested with different numbers and combinations of new tracks as well as by themselves. Did another test where I removed one of the songs I added 3 days ago(and had played and confirmed working) and launched CFSM without issue and then added that song back and am now having the same issue as above with that working track. Note that just removing the new songs from the folder leads to CFSM loading properly, error b…

Hey, thanks for the reading beforehand. Thing is, I fixed some songs using CFSM and now they appear in the list without art cover... U know, the semi-transparent vinyl with the Rocksmith logo in the middle. When I hit enter they disappear, I can't play them. Now I'll have to go one by one and redownload them all and not fix them. Any input about it?

I got tired of constantly re-tuning so I tried to take advantage of the pitch shift feature, but I think I did something wrong. They shifted my CDLC ( except drop tunings obviously) into estd but they sound just .... bad, like a cheap synthesizer. The note recognition works in game, but even with headphones on so I can't hear the strings directly it is unplayable. Any ideas what I messed up? And is there anyway to undo it, or should I re-download them all?

I am completely new to this whole set of things that revolve around rocksmith. But this journey has been nuts so far. So first things first that I'm sure people will wonder, (as these issues I have encountered and had to figure out how to fix.) ; I have Cherub Rock. CDLC is working right. My sound cable is working. I can access steams overlay. Next, I am wanting the .DD files of songs ( as i am brand new to learning guitar) so looked up how to do that. I was told to get the CFSM here : https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/CFSM When I DL it for windows, my VLC media player wants to open it for some reason, and when I go to properties to change "…

First concerning issue I've come across with CFSM. I noticed today when loading the program, the log states Thinking maybe CFSM got corrupted I uninstalled, deleted the documents folder, downloaded a fresh copy and installed. On the upside, multi-thread scan is truly working for the first time I've enabled it, and the auto monitor feature is back again [lost that earlier today as well]. However, that log message continues. As I understand it, that rs1comp is the import tool dlc? I have also attempted to verify through steam, which downloaded a fresh file, only for CFSM to tag it as corrupted.

I've been noticing for some time that the program deletes songs without notifying me, nor does it send them to the Windows trash. Could you update the program to prevent it from permanently deleting the songs? There are some songs that are no longer on Customsforge and can no longer be downloaded.

yeah yeah, this has already been asked before, and i asked on reddit and got the same answer, use appSettings.xml to put the directory in manually, but there is but one issue... there is no appSettings.xml... anywhere on my computer there is RocksmithToolkitLib.Config.xml though, but that doesnt seem to work, but in it, rs2014path was already set as the directory, and deleting it and copying the path from my folder and putting it in didnt work, also there is rs1path but i cant seem to find that anywhere. when i started CSFM it started up normally, asking for the directory (which is broken) and such, but when i closed all the popups a new pop up appeared, sa…

Hi there, I am very sad today, because CFSM stopped working on my PC, hope to find some help from this great community! This is what happened. I use CFSM on PC in Mac Mode to clean up new CDLCs before I play them on my Mac. So I typically load a small number of CDLCs already converted in Mac Format into a subfolder in Rocksmith dlc directory, fire up CFSM, run repairs, correct tags and them move them to Mac leaving the Directory clean with ODLC only. This time I noticed at CFSM start up, that the list of CDLC in CFSM contains old CDLC from my last run weeks ago, which are actually no longer in Rocksmith DLC directory as actual files. Run Quick Rescan, …

Hello, just moved my Steam to Windows, and I found this thing called CFSM. Pretty cool. Can't seem to get it to work though - when it first starts up, it requires me to select the Rocksmith 2014 Installation Directory - but I can only select folders on the Desktop (and that's not where Rocksmith is). If I hit "cancel" it enters a loop of telling me I need that folder (which isn't on the desktop)... and then I get the Release Notes, then back to the must select the Rocksmith folder... rinse repeat. Only way to kill the program is through Task Manager. Any ideas?

It has worked for months just fine then today it would not open. I have reinstalled several times and removed the folder from my documents. It reaches the exact same point in Song Manager tab and just stops responding. I have tried these steps probably 5 - 6 times and still it crashes. Can anyone help because this is extremely frustrating!!

Hello, I have several CDLCs with excessively loud audio (read: borderline deafening) compared to the usual average volume. I checked my collection with CFSM and in fact, while most CDLCs have a negative SongVolume (LF) between -5 and -9, those deafening CDLC have all positive values like 0, 1, 2... I recalled seeing an option in CFSM related to adjusting the volume, and I was planning to decrease it by a couple of points for those loud CDLC, but then I noticed that the "Custom Mods" > "Auto Adjust CDLC Volume (POC)" function has a series of preset values including a "Target SongVolume (LF) = -7". Is it just supposed to be left like that default? Should I…

Hi, Hopefully OK to ask this, I have tried searching but couldn't find a topic. Have played RS for some time and only just recently heard about CF. Tried the CFSM and when pointing the directory to my DLC folder I get the message "There are no Rocksmith 2014 songs in (file location)". The downloaded songs do appear in RS when I launch the game. Using Windows 10. Many thanks,

I have played Rocksmith since the original on XBox. Was considering a move to the PC so that I could access customs song. But, just read that the original RS and DLCs have been delisted. Don't mind buying them again for PC, just don't want to lose some of them permanently. If I get the latest version from steam, is there any way to get some/all of the original songs back so I can still play them? Maybe someone has rebuilt them in customs forge?

Sorry folks but I am not much of a computer guy...All the guides/postings I have seen so far are about the specific functions of the Song Manager program itself. HOWEVER, I haven't been able to run into a guide/posting that breaks down in simple terms how and where to install the song manager .rar program file. Your help is appreciated. EXAMPLE: 1. Download xxxx.rar file and place it in your XXXX Directory 2. Double Click on the xxxx.rar to extract the files to the XXXX Directory/Folder 3. etc, etc, etc.... Thank you
