Can parenthesis be allowed in chord names in a future update? I tested some normal situations (edited the xml file) and there are no crashes or hangs. I don't import guitar pro's, but if silly names are being imported they don't seem to crash the game either. I tried these: (AbMaj7) ((((((((((G7b9 ((((EbMa)(j7((((no3)) and the game did not crash, even when accessing the chord book. On Disk Example: Splashh - "All I Wanna Do" Em7(no5) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEmXaUtl00I#t=1m6s Official DLC example: Alice in Chains "No Excuses" Ab(add9)

  2. I am getting an error when I save my eof file. Error: Default RS sections that were added are missing. skipping writing the <sections> tag. It seems to only be on the bass path.

  3. I'm making a song for Phase Shift and using the real drums track. So I'm trying to add a open high hat note, which is a yellow note, and a high tom note, which is also a yellow note. I know how to convert the yellow note into a crash cymbol, and a high hat note, but how would I go about having there be two notes of the same color but they are different things (a high hat and a high tom)? I clicked on the note - then went to note tab - drum- toggle Y cymbol+tom. It changed the note on the program to a triangle with a dot, but when loading it into phase shift, it still only shows an open high hat.

  4. The issue is relatively simple. Here is the riff in EOF : Now here is result in RS at two different point in the song (the riff was copy/paste in EOF to make sure i didn't missed anything) Expected version (all notehead are displayed properly) : Unexpected version (notehead on the D strings doesn't appear) : I have a very similar kind of riff : Which always display as expected : Here is the corresponding xml and the associated EOF project : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yrDPLHPtW77VNWTA_sP9Byp3Up5kZX0l?usp=sharing

Hello everybody. So here is my concern, I would like to know if it was possible to adjust all the measures in EOF without changing the synchronization between notes and music because I already spent a lot of time synchronizing everything and I would not have to to start all over. I'm asking because after converting the package to GP5 tablature, well the measures were anything. Thank you all. Fedro.

  11. Issue I'm having with a track I'm finishing up. Changes in one section go from G5-D5-G5-D5. This is in drop d, so the fingering SHOULD go 555-000-555-000 as entered in EOF. After testing in game it shows 555-555-555-222. I've toyed with the section and nothing seem seems to fix it to the correct fingering and fret position. Any help? Problem occurs at 1:10, measure 37. 12. When importing tabs from GP7 (exported as a GP5 file) into EoF as REAL_BASS_22, the notes are being imported as sustains when they are actually quarter notes on different strings. Looking at the tabs in GP7, they are correct, but EoF seems to only be picking up the root note. So far all I have done in EoF is load the MP3, display the waveform, add a 3 second leading pause, and set the BPM to 93. From there I made sure the track was set to REAL_BASS_22, then imported the GP5 I exported from GP7. While going through playback to line up the beats and notes, I noticed that in the song the bass line has 3 distinct note per measure stepped progression, but EoF was showi…

I've run into a problem in EoF and was hoping someone could give some guidance on how to correct this. I tabbed a song in Guitar Pro, imported it to EoF, and when I save it and run it through rstk some of the chord fingerings have changed so that it's physically impossible to play it. Any idea how to keep it fingerings the same?

There's some songs (Like King of Sorrow and the vast majority of the Sleddin' Hill album by August Burns Red) that have frequent BPM changes. How do you translate this into Rocksmith? You can only set an average BPM. Thanks!

Hello all! first time poster here, so i recently got a new laptop and was unable to move all my old Rocksmith tools over from my old one. My old was Windows 7, my new is 10. When i try to boot the EOF.exe it will open multiple cmd prompts rapidly then close, then will open EOF in a white screen while the windows says No song. anybody have a fix? Thank you anyone for their help

  16. Started by Xaphist,

Hello All, I am having an issue where when I manually add leading silence in audacity to my MP3 before importing it into EOF, the output WAV file in the song folder has cut out the leading silence. The OGG file however keeps the leading silence. So when I use that WAV in WWise to make the WEM file, my chart does not sync with the audio. As a workaround I have been manually creating a WAV using audacity and using that to make the WEM file, but it would be nice if I could skip that step. For some reason the "add leading silence" in EOF doesn't work (I have posted a separate topic a while back about that), so that is why I need to manually add the silence before import…

I've got my song in EoF (via a GP5 file) and all the notes and chords are right but once I convert via the toolkit all the notes shift over 2 to account for the capo on the second fret. Is there a way to correct this outside of moving over everything 2 frets to account for the odd shift?

Do any of you use Go Playalong to sync GP tabs to EOF, or is this tool a waste of time?

  19. So, I found this CDLC that was pretty bad, so i decided to remake it. Because i didnt want to have to do all the syncing, i decided to import the xmls of the psarc file through the RSToolkit, because the previous creator had already synced it but had screwed up everything else. But whenever I import the xml (of any instrument path), it imports with many difficulty levels, which is really annoying to work with because i have to scroll through every damn difficulty level, trying to find the notes i want to correct... Is there any way to merge the 16 difficulty levels into 1 ?

So I've gone through my cdlc and added sections. However when I try it out it looks like most of the sections are cut into smaller ones. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix this?

So .... before i go crazy: Easy question: How do i hide unwanted chordnames. My try with editing using "N" - Pro guitar Note - setting the name to " " and applying to all similar notes leads to strange results including all that chords named "m" :) Rock, Tha Rod

When I make leading silence OggCat doesn't work for me and I use re-encode. Then I see that EOF lowers bitrate to 128k which is very low. What can I do to fix this? I suppose that similar issue is with Rocksmith Custom Song Creation Kit. When I make DLC I just use Rocksmith Custom Song Creation Kit and put my .ogg file there (It's more convenient and obvious than wwise interface). Is there any option of which bitrate my CDLC should be?

  25. Hello All, Having an issue authoring a chord slide with an open note. Tried tech notes, ghosting the middle open note, etc. Can't seem to make it display the open note correctly. See below for EOF and RS views. When I author it in GP5 and import, it turns it into separate chords. Thanks, -Hunter http://i.imgur.com/IFSREAx.png http://i.imgur.com/NnGqEMt.png
