Hi, I am really into making customs for Guitar Hero World Tour on PC, and I've got functioning customs (only replacing old songs though). What really bothers me is that I have separate guitar, bass, drums, etc tracks, so I looked into creating my own multichannel FSBs. I decrypt the old FSBs, create my new FSBs and encrypt them back using the keyfile from the original FSB. Everything goes fine, music plays, even the channels are split, but there is one thing. The FSB containing guitar and bass tracks is playing a little bit faster and causing it to go off sync. When I pause the song, it goes back to sync, but then it again goes off. I don't know what the problem might b…

Just saying hi to the good people of Customsforge. I'm blown away by the amount of work you people have put into making the CDLC's and this website... I can't thank you enough. I registered a while ago but Rocksmith was crashing all the time so never bothered downloading anything 'til I had got it sorted. I'm amazed all the tracks I got tonight loaded straight away and worked first time. Cheers guys!

Not gonna lie, I can't plan a vacation to save my life. I just don't have that kind of skill set/my brain doesn't get it. My teenagers like being in the water, I think their favorite vacation ever was one where we booked them surfing lessons. That was over in NJ and I was very concerned the whole time about them being that far out in the ocean (I tend to worry irrationally). I though a lake setting may be easier on my nerves so I was considering a water skiing vacation for the kids and maybe a couple of their friends. None of them have ever been water skiing so I thought their must be a 3/5 day camp or series of lessons I could take them to but my limited Google po…

Uh, not quite sure what it's called, but is there a program in the depths of the internet that can create guitar notes and what not to mix into a track? So as the sound and beats are perfect as to me playing my own guitar into a microphone.

  11. I'm among those who have accepted the fact that the original members of GnR will never play live together again. This is one of the biggest crimes (musically) to happen in our lifetime. I keep watching interviews with Slash that ultimately come around to that question and so many of them end up asking him if there is a price, regardless of how ridiculous, that would make it happen and Slash seems all too happy to reply that it isn't about money. Hey, I get it, it's not about money. One day I hope to not have to make so many decisions based on how much money I have or don't have. I love Slash and admittedly don't know everything that was said and done back in …

Hi, guys First off, I've been gone a long time, but I haven't lost my passion for making CDLCs yet. I do have a couple of songs ready, but they were intented for personal use. Lately I've started reading the forum again, maybe I'll invest some time in it... So, why I'm actually here. I want to show you a song, written and performed by someone I know. She has an amazing voice. If her song gets some more attention, I'm sure that will give a good motivation boost for her guitar/singing. Thx! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKTCzNlQTeo

So I loaded rocksmith and one of the missions was to get to level 8 on ninja slide. I usually do well on that game, but this time it wouldn't pick up any of my slides on the low E string. I recently changed strings to thinner ones and the game wasn't having any of it.I figured a song might be more fun, so I decided to load a CDLC I just got. Well it had no tone, and sometimes songs without tone does weird things to my game. Anyway I had to tune down to D drop C for it, and the game gave me a dissapointing performance: oh well! After that, I decided to cheer myself up and play a song I know. Well tuning back up to E standard, broke my high E string. Luckily I have bac…

I don't even know how it happened. I kind of blacked out and when I came to, I was looking at a "thank you for your order" screen. It's not my fault, really. Elderly has a 10% off coupon code, free shipping and they set up the guitar. I'm the victim here.

I just wanted to suggest "How Music Works with Howard Goodall", it's a great documentary for anyone who want to start looking into music theory (and to anyone else who is just curious, really). Didn't find a better place than this to put it to. I remember watching it on youtube and then downloading DVD and watching it again. I had very little knowledge from childhood, little knowledge from ~5 years back when I started and it really paints a good overall picture about building blocks of contemporary western music (including my favourite - syncopation). I don't think I need to convince any of you to watch it... Parts: [*]Melody [*]Rhythm [*]Harmony [*]Bass …

Hi! I see that in old songs, all of them user E Standard tuning. And in some point in history the songs started to use different tuning (drod D, etc). Who started this custom tuning practice and when? Or it came out from nowhere? cheers!

  21. Yea, we'd all like to own a killer guitar shop or something along those lines, but seriously, if you were in it to make the second half of your life more financially stable than the first what would you do? Before this gets into a fantasy "what if" kinda thread please know I'm at least half way serious here. Why ask on a forum like this? Why not I would say. You never know where the best ideas come from. Starting off, I DON'T have all the money to do this, but enough to make a run at it. Let's say I can get my hands on $100,000 I don't have to pay back to anyone but myself. Is there a business you would start or would you just invest the money and avoid much of…

Beware SPOILER There is something that I didn't understand in the movie and I feel like its a unfinished thing. Who killed the pilot and who killed the guy that a phone was planted on him? I know that the pilot was killed by a blow dart from a hole in the airplane bathroom and the passenger seems to had the same death by poison.

I wonder if anyone knows of other good guitar software? I just ran into something called RIffstation. It will take just about any audio file and show you the chords in it. It does a bunch of other stuff as well such as changing the speed and pitch, isolating solos and looping, Anyway, I downloaded the demo (http://www.riffstation.com/) yesterday and ended up buying it the same day. I recently took a very large CD collection and put in on my PC and these are now all available for me to play - pretty cool!

I've been struggling with this for a while and cant find the solution anywhere. It's probably simple, but I'm just missing it. I have an Xbox One that is on the same network as my PC's. You can/should be able to play your Itunes through the Xbox One from your PC via wireless. Here is a youtube video of how to do it: I have done everything in the video, at least 10 times, and it still doesn't work. The problem is when I look under my "Multimedia Devices" in my control panel I can see the XboxOne (along with other devices) but it is grayed out and I can't use it. I know it's my Xbox One as it has the name I game it and it actually worked once, but has stopped wo…
