I've been making some CDLC of some songs I haven't seen on here yet just for myself to play, and so far I've managed to make two that work totally fine, but I'm running into issues on this third one. I've gone through EoF and gotten everything made, now I want to create a test version of the CDLC to try it out in game. However, when I open the DLC Builder and click "Add Arrangement" and select my file, I get the error "PART REAL_GUITAR_RS2.xml: Value was either too large or too small for a signed byte." Any idea what this means? When I was trying to save my project in EoF I was getting repeat warnings about notes over the 24th fret, so I'm wondering if this is related? If…

Just wondering if anyone would like to share tips for how they approach tone design for a broad audience. There are so many different factors to consider that shape how a tone sounds between different guitars and players - pickups, selector position, tone knobs, where the player is playing in relation to the pickups, etc... Do you have a method for designing tones which aims to provide a good tone across all variations?

Is there some way to get EOF/RS to recognize a slide to zero? As in sliding all the way down and releasing the string so the open string rings out? I've been trying everything I can think of and I can't seem to make it work since it requires an end fret and doesn't accept zero I also tried setting to end at fret 1 on a ghost note and then have that 1 do an unpitched slide, all linkednext but that didn't work either

I just completed a CDLC only to realize that the recent remaster sounds much better and would improve the CDLC. I generally prefer the original mixes to new "remasters" but in this case it would work better. Unfortunately the remaster timing doesn't match up perfectly so I cannot just simply drop the new audio in, even after trying to line up the audio in DAW it still goes out of sync, so it will have to be re-beatmapped all over again. I'm just wondering what the best way to do this is: Can I can delete all beat anchors in the original EOF file, or have to start from scratch and then import the xml files - I have added some handshapes and FHPs, etc, would like …

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but is there a specific place for paid requests? I have contacted several people of like musical tastes and always feel bad as they probably get slammed by the same. Can there be a hired gun request page made for this group as I post tons of songs (mostly because I'll forget them if I don't) but am willing to reimburse for work done. It just seems more people should be benefiting from their work.

Well, I've been downloading songs for a little while now, loving all the incredible music and learning to play guitar and bass with some of my favorite artists. Regularly I'd hear a song on the radio that made me want to play, and I'd check to see if it was available for download. 99% of the time it's there, but this one wasn't. This is my first attempt at creating CLDC, so I'm sure there will be some bumps in the road. I've been looking at a few songs in uncharted territory (sorry) and there are sections where I just can't make out the instruments because the vocals and drums are simply too loud. I've tried inverting the phase, but it didn't help enough. Any tips to help pick out the notes? Otherwise, I'll resort to emailing the artist and begging for tracks.

Hello, I used the tutorial here and another youtube video explaining the step by step process and what programs to use. I got all the way through EOF, Guitar Pro, Wwise, and UltraStar. I put everything into the Rocksmith Toolkit and hit Generate but I got error saying "rocksmith toolkit sequence contains more than one matching element" and I don't know how to fix this. I've tried uninstalling the toolkit completely and reinstalling to try to wipe it, and this is still what I'm getting. Hey guys, I've been making some CDLC for home use, and noticed In the Garage by Weezer doesn't have a bass line, so I'm putting it in EoF (my wife and I like to play together). I see others have asked for the bass line as well on the comment page for that song. I also want to add some simple bass lines to White Stripes and similar songs, so she has something to play with (probably no need to upload those) What are the rules on adding to someone else's previously created work?

How can I make tones like 'lead phaser', 'distortion processed', 'acoustic octave' etc.? I've seen these kind of tones even in cdlcs so I know it's possible I've tried importing the tone, for example 'overdrive tremolo' from 'spiderwebs' by no doubt In the toolkit the tone type is marked as 'tremolo' and also in the game it just shows as 'tremolo' There's also a cdlc ('how did we get so dark' by royal blood) with a bass distortion lead (or something like that) tone I saved the tone as a .tone2014.xml file and I notice that on the image I'm guessing the two numbers after 357 define the tone I already tried that too, with different nu…

Apologies if I’m beating a dead horse, but I haven’t been able to find anything recent on this topic. I recently charted a song in eof by hand, added sections/phrases, added sufficient leading silence, everything looked and sounded fine. No problem converting in wwise. Put together everything in the creator tool, no issues there. Generate and place in cdlc folder. Shows up properly in game, sections and audio etc. but the game crashes to desktop trying to load it. I have hundreds of cdlc that all work fine. Really don’t understand what I could be missing. I have made changes and generated a new file multiple times but still same problem. Only thing I can t…
