Hey, so i'm in the midst of creating my first CDLC - I think i've got the hang of it all except one things has stumped me.. for no apparant reason, I have a missing section of the song when it pulls through on one of the tracks, Like the notes are not there in rocksmith. Now they are there in on the GP5 File. They are there in EOF - and the sections are all intact on the other tracks Of Rhythm, Alt Lead, and Bass. But on the lead track, its just blank. Any thoughts on if i'm missing something or something to check?

I specifically remember the song Paralyzed from As I Lay Dying working, but since this update it crashes when loading. Any reason why specific customs crash with this new update?

I'm trying to build my first custom DLCs, so I'm total newb, but I did manage to get pretty far in my first process. Got the arrangements, and lyrics synced and all good, but something about the section maybe? The song ends abruptly after the lyrics end, and doesn't play out the full audio of the ending. What am I missing? Do I need to add a silence at the end of the audio like we do with the leading silence?

I think he is tapping with his fingers, also I didnt get the tone quite right, I think he is using phaser or I think he placed the mic elsewhere on the cabinet. All the files for customeforge should be in the folder. just search for ozzy osbourne god only knows.

Im trying to import a GP file but when i attempt to import and i open the folder, the file itself is not present. I am very confused and require help please.

When I create my CDLC with songs that don't have the standard tuning, or aren't Drop D tuning, I use the Multipitch pedal, that way the song sounds as if it was on another pitch but I don't have to actually tune my guitar/bass every time I play different songs. I was wondering if there was any way to edit the songs contained in rs1compatibilitydisc_p.psarc with the Toolkit, and if so, if there's a tutorial on how to do it. If there isn't, where should I start? Do I treat this file as if it was CDLC and do it in the CDLC Creator tab? Do I have to start in the Packer/Unpacker tab? Hello, This is my first post and I really appreciate the talent here. It just blows my mind. I really want the Queen pack and I am happy to pay the $11.00 or so that was linked by riff repeater. These songs aren't available anymore. But, genuinely, Bohemian Rhapsody is why I wanted to play guitar, and why I went looking outside of steam and found customs forge. There are a lot of CDLC with non-standard tunings. These are always VERY annoying, because not every guitar or bass model allows for easily re-tuning your strings, for example if you have a (very common) Floyd Rose bridge on your guitar, even re-tuning a single string requires to unbolt the nut and adjust all of them. The Custom Forge Song Manager tool can help with non-standard tunings where all strings are tuned up or down by the same amount, by converting a CDLC into standard tuning and applying a pitch shifter. It won't sound beautiful in-game however, and it can't handle properly CDLCs with lead/rhythm/bass charts in different tuning, or CDLCs that do not have a…

However, I have played all parts on both of these CDLCs many times over using riff repeater and have not encountered any issues at all. What am I missing here? Is there something that would cause riff repeater issues for one person but not for another? Neither commenter has given me any detail as to what the issue is, and I can't find any problems... HI, Has anyone used the new version of Guitar Pro 8 to sync songs instead of using Go Play Along 4? If so, what changes? I'm trying to figure out the best way to sync my tab with a track in GP8. I could do it pretty quickly with GPA4, but if I can rely on one less tool, that would be great! Thanks for any insight, L

Its a bit hard to understand what you're doing initially & I find that just having the steps laid out in a more detailed but brief overview is helpful. I'm trying to simply create a Megadeth Holy Wars with replaced master backed nolead version from youtube. Just in case anyone is wondering - yes I own the DLC. No I do not wish to distribute this. Purely for my own educational purposes. Made the ogg, etc. Fixed up any issues with sync (pain the arse as there seemed to be some timing differences in the files compared to the rocksmith ogg but I digress). Created an ogg with exact same length, etc. Opened in DLC builder, gave it a different DLC key and all that jazz. Made release. Just will not show up in the tracks in rocksmith. Hey, I figured out how to do rocksmith videos because I find them very helpful in order to play offline without rocksmith on a computer. Thing is, I'm used to inverted strings so lower e string on the bottom. Anybody is doin' videos like this already? I stumbled upon Custom Forge and it's Ignition4 Search which made it nicer to learn to play guitar with the songs i like.
