Hi. I have just started to learn making custom songs to RS2014. It's my first CDLC work-in-process. There are some issues and I'm asking for help. I believe that tabs are good so I haven't modify them. My steps: * EOF - import tabs, lyrics, add 3s delay, some sections * UltraStar Creator - prepare lyrics * Wwise - prepare song for game * Custom Song Creator Toolkit - run DDC and compile song Questions and issues 1. I added 3s delay and moved 1st section a bit to synchronize notes with music. In EOF they seem synchronized. In Rocksmith notes seems to pass too late or it's just an illusion. 2. so i'm new to this whole customs creation thing, and i have some questions. - the volume seems to be coming in real low in this song. i've made some other customs and havent had this problem. if i REALLY hammer on the string, it'll register, but most of the notes i play are misses. - the arpeggio is probably impossible to play. i'm nowhere near a badass guitarist, so theres no way in hell i can test it for playability. if anyone considers themselves a guitar god, please take a shot at this and see if its playable, or suggest a different fingering. i'm assuming it needs to move over a few strings so it can be tapped properly. thanx a lot for any help anyone can give …

I want to take a song that I did not create and experiment with it (change the tone, change some notes, etc). When I unpack the song, the arr directory has the xml but not the .eof file. Is there any tutorial on how to import the xml into editor on fire to edit the song? Just curious.

Hi there :) I was wondering if there's a way to extract guitar songs from CDLC to put in my line 6 pocket pod. I would like to play songs without having to launch Rocksmith and keep certain guitar songs always with me on my pod. Do you think it's possible and how can I do this ? Hello there! Can you play pinch harmonics? Because I can't, even though I'm starting to get the idea how they are supposed to work... I am currently improving my custom Life by Devin Townsend, and it seems like there are two pinch harmonics that weren't properly charted in my sources. I came up with a guess, but I might be totally wrong... therefore it would be a awesome if someone could help me identify those harmonics. This folder contains the _p.psarc, a gp5 and the mp3 of the song. I wanted to turn Art of Life by X Japan into a CDLC because no one else had done it and why not? I've found a solid .GP5 file and it's all smooth sailing. Except that all of the BPM settings in the file are wrong. There are a lot of tempo shifts in this file and when listening to it in sync with the song, it goes out of sync pretty damn soon. I've been making some progress on fixing it, but after nearly 5 hours, i must admit that this is one thing i just can't do properly. I need a good soul to help me align the BPM's in this sheet with the studio version of the song. I simply can't do it properly and it's driving me nuts. Too many shifts and too many weird tempos. Hey guys! This is my first custom song ever, and I was looking to get some feedback on it before I even think about releasing it. Basically, I play bass guitar (and other than forgetting to insert silence in the beginning of the song, resulting in the song beginning immediately, which only affects the bass) I'm pretty sure the bass is spot on, but since I don't play guitar at all I have no idea about it, and it'd be great to get some feedback on the song while I'm fixing the whole "silence" issue (so bassists don't kill me!).
