Installed latest CFSM and patched the d3dx9_42.dll into the game folder. Made sure all dlc was repaired then went to start but nothing happens. Without the file it starts no problem. Help?

Is there anyone who can suggest how to install Custom Song manager on a Windows 7 OS . What is happening is Net Framework V4.0 fails when I try to install it which prevents me from installing CSM. Searched everywhere to get answers but nothing that helps sofar. Has anyone come across this & solved the problem I'm having? I had a harddrive go bad & had to reinstall everything on the new harddrive, fresh Windows 7, yet oddly CSM was working great on the old Harddrive with the same Windows 7, so am at a loss what to do, appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi guys. I'm currently receiving an error whilst attempting to download/install this tool. It claims that the latest build of CFSM (1.5.3.0) contains a virus. I use Windows 10 Defender. Can anyone help me sort this out please. Thanks in advance. J.

Hi, I installed 1.5.3.0 last night and let it run. I think (not sure) I configured it to do a full scan of arrangements. Now, when I click on the application, the CPU spikes, and the application remains unresponsive for long periods of time. How long? I'm not sure. I let it run overnight and when I came back to it today, the app was responsive. But then I started a search, and since then, it's been running at high CPU and is not responding to anything. I'm not sure if I should kill it because it's doing useless work, or if I should let it run until it ends. I don't see any logs anywhere. Installed latest build of CFSM and when it looked for RS install folder it's not letting me using E:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014 as the path. It keeps changing stubbornly E:\ to C:\ It will not let me manually type the path it brings up a file manager window to look for the file the moment I try to type. Manually going to the folder though does not change the issue either. It still changes the path to C:\ If I copy/paste the path hit save and try to list songs it gives me an error that no songs are found. And it loops back to the setup process. Rinse, repeat. @bwaredapenguin reported that CFSM was sometimes changing the arrangement represent (default, bonus and alternate) values in repaired CDLC. Turns out this was being caused by a bug in the toolkit. Both CFSM and the toolkit have been updated to address the issue. You should now be able to repair CDLC with latest build of CFSM which will correct the toolkit bug and will also correctly maintain the arrangement represent information in repaired CDLC. Program starts but closes while loading and pulls up a debug log

Hi New to rocksmith and cdlc. I'm able to download the .psarc file and put it in my dlc folder. When I start the game it appears in my list of songs but when I want to play the song the fretboard never shows up and the song never starts playing. At that point it won't let me quit the song and I have to force the application to quit. What am I doing wrong? I'm also not sure if I have the remastered rocksmith. I dont see "remastered" any where on the start up just Rocksmith 2014. Thank you

I went through setting the software up and set the program to read the Rocksmith directory. It's picking up all the CDLC that I downloaded. I repaired all of the ones that said not repaired too. The problem is that none of the songs are actually showing up in the game. I'm using v1.5.0.9 of the software. I do see the "ODLC" that popped up in the software in the list of songs, but for some reason the CDLC isn't showing up. I've tried launching from the Song Manager and still it's not working.

Hello everyone, i'm trying to rename using the directories option and when i press rename it's doesn't do anything it worked well almost with half the songs i have in the library, is it a bug or something in my side?

Hi, I've been playing my CDLC and when I installed the new CFSM it says that my D3DX9_42.dll' file isn't there. I know it there because I'm able to play the game. I opted out of that option. I do get this though - <ERROR> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014\dlc\songs.psarc - Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014\dlc\songs.psarc'. I also get one when I click on the song pact tab about "Required files missing." Could not find required file: cache.psarc inside the rocksmithinstallation directory.

Trying to download version 1.4.6.3 , I click on the link and it says file not found. Is there some other link for this. Using windows 10 if that help. PS not pc literate

Hi, I just bought RS1 and the Disc transfer tool. How do I get it to show up on CustomsForge Song Manager? I want to take off some songs from the game I don't like. I took out all my Cdlc from my folder and opened up CustomsForge Song Manager. It will pick up the songs from RS2014 but not RS1. Thanks for your time and help.

OK, I could just be an idiot, but I cannot get this to work on my Windows 10 pc. I get it downloaded and installed, but I can't figure out to do what's next. It's something about accessing the dlc, but I have no idea how to make that work. Thanks for any help!

So i just upgrade to the new beta version (CFSM 1.4.6.4). With the older Version 1.4.6.3 I never had an issue, but after upgrading to the beta version every time I go to run repairs on just the selected files (which are all new downloads with some older stuff). All I am selecting is the files that show the "NotRepaired" and then run the selected Repairs and I get asked if I want to replace all of the old song files that were once repaired and they weren't even selected. It would error out if I selected "YES" so the only work around is hitting "NO" all 100+ times. Anyone else with this issue? or is this just me?
