Edit: checked also Smashing Pumpkins: Mayonese with same issue purpose to fix it, but it was already fixed with new version. So no more music cut offs in the end; in list, but only fix :)    

Why is it that I download a CDLC (Stormy Monday by Cream to be precise), and I can not adjust the difficulty.  It doesn't start out with single notes, slowly, as the other Rocksmith songs do.  Its just full bore, full speed with no adjustments...

Sounds like Can't raise difficulty issue. Didn't succeed play song yet, since it didn't show up in my playlist at least in "right place", (tried artist, title search, song lenght) but i will found it sooner or later and check closer issue. Tested allman brothers same named song without issue (so no same name conflict) and same charter who made this cream song, other song, without issues. Did you found it in right place?

 

Edit: played song alone and it worked perfectly. (It can conflict with big pack with other song(unknown to me))

All notes are seen at once, there are no difficulty levels.(No Dynamic Difficulty)

Its not bug, and its not thing I list. Its just charter way to do song.

Not everybody use dynamic difficulty, its always charter option to use or not use it.

I myself prefer songs like this, where all notes are seen (No DD)

If you like you can always slow down song, i think slowing down is better way to practice, than turn notes off with DD.

 

If you prefer songs with DD check always song topic. Its marked there. Yes for this.

Also you can practice to make your own difficulties to songs, there are many topics that will help you to do so...

So, most of timtoolmans song links are fixed, Thx to izzy but pls note those songs were all deadtoned. when i played them last time year ago, and since file size  haven't change, i don't bother now to re-test them another time. If you find out, that even some are not causing deadtone issue pls report here, correct my list then.

 

If anybody has full list of zuca230 removed songs (another deadtone charter) i/you/we could have some use for that. 

Used download list search option to mark those deadtone songs (quite many), but now songs are not anymore founded via search.

I have tried to delete all duplicates... but in my 10t+ archive there were still about 20 duplicates, after cleaning just less crashing.

I noticed that Fight by Lars & the Bastards has been added to the list so have changed the dlc name

I adopted Aerosmith's Cryin' and fixed the name to avoid conflict with Joe Satriani's Cryin

If you list a song any song which has an issue you should list the charter as well so they know there is a problem ( i.e. they get a notification if they are mentioned ) as I for one would like to know so I can fix it.

Right : I visit this page sometimes to check if none of my customs is mentioned.

I p.m. the charter to fix his Gary Moore: Midnight Blues.

Also it takes less then a minute to fix the missing bass tone, there is little hope, as he doesn't any update since feb.2014.

I will probably have to release a corrected version.

In early days there were only few same namers and cure to issue was only to change song game name... and that pissed for reason some charters ... so i dropped mentioning issue, evolved/tested better simple cure, with some charters...

So days have changed, there are many same namers, and i want to minimize my list still, i should change also.

I think nowdays charters are just happy to know issue, when cure is not to change songs game name.

That's not the case as Warren Zevon didn't crash my game once so I didn't know there was an issue. I seriously doubt a charter would release a cdlc if they knew it crashed a game.

My business is only report if not already reported... Warren Zevon was already reported when i encountered same issue. I believe too that all save corrupting songs are just sad accidents, and chartes had no clue of issue. 

 

But almost all deadtone (crashing tone) songs are known by charter. And there are quite many of them. They are done not by accident.

 

I do my best with list, try to list issues, fixes, report charters, but there are quite many songs me to handle alone.

And for sure i do mistakes and miss some new updates that corrects issues.

Keeping list updated is our all job or hobby if we will. Alone, I just can't do it properly nowdays... 

It seems that reporting all same namers take some time... but started today.

Happy to see future list removals soon, even some...

Fix described:

All I did was cleaned up the synching in EOF then repackage it. After that I decided to download bpr_v0.3 and run the non ddc versions through it to get the synch 100. Then made ddc versions in the rocksmith tool kit from the bpr_v0.3 updated files. I think the synch prior was a bit off. More so than I thought. bpr_v0.3 showed the originals were on 60% synched. After re-charting in EOF, bpr_v0.3 showed only a few notes out of synch, after using bpr_v0.3 they were 100% synched. All I can figure out to cause the original issue was synching.

 

If someone can/like to develope "general rule" for charters to fix save corrupters, pls share, add to fixes.

Anyone horny?  :)

By the way lordnial is trying to fix unfixed save corrupters, so there is big hope to charters have somekind of general fix method also for this sad and time consuming issue, and bytes eating too...Happily its rare issue, rarer better.

 

My main goal is still to have list of 0 issues. And at least new adds to list are much rarer than they used to be.

So  i'm happy to say that nowdays you really can play random lot of song without issues, so it's getting better and better...day by day. My only concern is that i just can't play all massive amount of songs and different versions anymore, but as i said earlier it is just mainly great.

Only bad side is that list is not updated so fast alone as it should, but nowdays i have much help and i really appreciate it.

List was personal 1.5 years ago, but now it's more like what we as community want it to be, list accuracy and fastness is much up to you nowdays. Quite few wanna crash or corrupt save...just wanna play quitar without issues.
