Show must go on. This words from Queen's classic fits perfectly to the start of new Rocksmith Championship week. As you all know, @@Joey, the long time RC Organizer, stepped down from his role last week. For long time he was here, to give us this wonderfull oportunity to participate in championship. But that's hard work. Still he was doing all he could, combining that with work and family. But time, time is running away fast and @@Joey realized that. He no longer could sacrifice his personal life, not to this degree. He withdraw, but didn't left. He still will be part of this community and will be always welcome to post. Not only his scores but also warm words. As we all remember he was here to cheer and praise, taking pride from seeing us become better and better every week. I'm proud to write this words and to thank @@Joey for us all.

I'm a little nervous as you all are in most cases older than me, better guitarists and overall more experience people. Nonetheless I want to give  you as good Championship as ever, so here we go.

Congrats to all the winners. It was nice competition this week, with lots of close scores, even though selected songs were not favorites for most. Fugged up on saving my screen shot oh well got 86%. That MC song is hard as nails don't think I could get through another run today!

Okay, so I was GOING to actually get it done because we have I have a 2 day break, but unfortunately the game won't let me play the Rains Of Castemere song in anything but Score Attack. And the middle solo fails me every time so I can't actually finish the song and give you guys a score for MC Lead. I'm really sorry!

Some early misses lowered my accuracy but a nice ending made my Score and streak good. It even got me on 2nd place in the steam leaderboard just above @. :D

my performance for this week. Shauruga intermediate lead. 80% accuracy 55 streak. Didn't have time to practice. Hope i'll have it next week

Awesome score on the Blondie track motive, I quite like the mc song vocal though, it is narrative more than sung and reminds me of Rutger Hauer doing the voice over for the UK lurpak adverts :D just wish I could play the darn thing... My dexterity is not keen on that track though. :/

@@tdudley Yup, you'd moved to Intermediate, though Blondie song is tough, so I can understand that.

 

Many great scores this week, good.

I added my intermediate and masterclass songs to the list, could someone confirm that I've put them in the correct categories? The Clansman is easy apart from the solo which isn't bad as Maiden solos go. I put 21st Century Schizoid Man in masterclass because even though it has some easy parts it has a really fast section where you are constantly changing strings so I believe I've labelled them correctly but I'd need someone in those classes to confirm for me.

We're trying to check them (though mostly when it's new week time). So, no problem with. As we're talking about Song Selection List I remind you that we're making comments on songs that we think have either issues with them or are put in wrong class.

I fixed mistake that did not included @@BRUTAL in Die Hard list.
