I am a total newbie to RS2014, and i would love to use some of the songs that the talented developers have converted to CDLC's (I.e., anything Led Zepplin).  Can someone share with me the process of how to get a CDLC from customsforge to my PS#?

thanks

Short answer, buy the PC version. Long answer, while you can install the files onto a PS3 the console has to be modified. There are so many variables to this, it has to be an older one, don't plan on using it online anymore and you could brick it. We have no instructions on how to modify a PS3 because well, it might kill it. In the long run the PC and MAC version of the game is a good investment. Steam runs sales here and there and it was I think $15 a few weeks ago. It's much easier to add files to your PC than to a console and the game plays better on a PC anyway.

You have to be running custom firmware, and for this you need official firmware 3.55 or less.  For most people this requires a downgrade/modification to the PS3. :(

I've recently (or still am) making the transition from PS3 to Mac.

The benefits are that I don't suffer from display lag, and I get to play pretty much any song on here.

The dowsides are the sound's shit, unless I output to a stereo/amp, and the game crashes quite frequently, but that may just be the CDLC... :)

Take a look here:

Steam codes for Rocksmith 2014 can be had relatively cheaply if you do a Google search:

This may not be the cheapest, just an example.
