Couldn't get into the songs last week, and didn't have much spare time even if I had...  But I'm a big Metallica fan so I HAVE to at least try MC on bass this week:

 

Better than I was kinda expecting for my 1st try on it.  We'll see if I get a bit more time this week to improve on that starting point!

3 reasons to like Johny Cash:

I don't really like Johnny Cash too much (I can appreciate his talent though), and playing the song was.. nightmarish. Chord strumming and Rocksmith just never seem to get along too well for me, oh well. The Miwa (never heard of them before..) song was fun though, even if the solo (after a few tries) still threw me off - I think I need to practise scales at speed. Nonetheless, here's my humble scores for this week (unless I improve, which I doubt).

 

(Also, bass on ChAngE was hell for some reason.)

That was fun. I was getting lost here and there but overall RR helped quite a lot.

Ride the Lightning is one of the very best Metallica songs. It's really fun to play it (even if you're poor :) ).

Well, this solo was the only one I couldn't handle in GH/RB from Metallica. It's really nice and it's great to finally see how it looks :D

Lead is nightmare as my chord skills are pretty weak. Bass on the other hand was very nice and easy. Only problem I had was random misses all the way, though that can be due to not being familiar enough with my bass.

@@Mortalo  Nice score, but where your score on bass INT ? :)

Took a day's rest after my 1st try on Ride the Lightning and came back to it tonight.  Early on in my second go, I figured out the rhythm on the part with the open E's followed by open A's with quick hammer-ons to 1st fret -- I was missing pretty close to every single one of those my first try and now I've got a much better handle on them.  SO, pretty big accuracy boost from 1st to 2nd attempts:

 

Still haven't broken down and done any RR + slowdown yet.  I think if I want another 2+% boost, I'm gonna have to do that so I can get the part stepping down from the 7th fret on A and alternating in a couple frets up on E.  I'm just kinda faking my way through that at the moment.

Up my score on Miwa Bass, after 3 full fails, so got 3 strikes.
