I assigned automatically the fret hand positions in EOF by automatically generating them and made one phrase at the beginning (other sections/phrases didn't seem to work?) and even tried the DDC but that didn't help at all it just made one section.

If you can post the project or XML files, we might be able to notice something unusual.
