We have been getting some questions/complaints about the leaderboards so I wanted to update you guys on how they are managed. Right now all scores that are submitted in the championship threads are added to the Leaderboards. At the end of each week we then determine who wins in each class by looking at the top scores. This is the simple explanation on how it is done but behind the scenes we see who belongs in what class and if a score from a INT competitor is in the Beginner class that score is ignored. Same goes for MC competitors in the INT class. If we determine that you belong in the MC class only your MC score will be counted. This goes for different arrangements as well as each arrangement is leveled on its own. We add everyones scores to the spreadsheet to make our jobs a bit easier.

 

It is much simpler for us who handle the leaderboards to just add all the scores and then at the end of the week determine the winners. If there is an error (which can happen sometimes as we are only human) once it is revealed to us we fix it. @ or @Mortalo greys out the members name/scores/streak in the leaderboard to let us know that the member shouldn't be counted in that class and that is one way we determine the winner. In the future we will hopefully have a type of trophy mod that will allow us to add a trophy on your profile if you have won the championship for the last week which you will have applied for each week that you win.

 

 

I am in talks with the admins to try and get this mod up and running and so that It can have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each class. We always love to hear suggestions on better ways of managing this competition so please add any and all suggestions to this thread and we will discuss them all.

It used to be able to be viewed but not changed by the public during the week. I liked seeing in one spot who was a percent or so above me so i could push for that extra bit. You also have many eyes pointing out any errors.

The leaderboard are, as always there and viewable all the time (check signatures of a lot of players or hit "good" down in my sig to get there!"
