July 15, 201411 yr I've been playing a lot of Radiohead, Coldplay, Cars, XX, etc. Does anyone have recommendations for other nice, simple, loungy bass songs in the database?
July 15, 201411 yr One of my favourites at the moment is Ho Hey by The Lumineers. It's really chilled and you get really into it. c: Personally, I enjoy Tool songs because they have awesome bass riffs. Such as Opiate. Some stuff by The Killers such as Bones, Jenny Was a Friend of Mine and Mr. Brightside is fun and pretty chilled. And Eric Clapton songs are chilled, like Tears in Heaven. c: NOW OFFERING 1-ON-1 LESSONS ON HOW TO CREATE CDLC. Skype: meop90

July 16, 201411 yr Off the top of my head: Love That's Gone - La Sera (RS 2014 On-Disc)Neil Young - Heart of GoldBob Dylan - Knockin' on Heaven's Door (RS 2014 On-Disc)Nora Jones - Don't Know WhyPink Panther Theme - (may be a bit above 'simple')The Spider and The Fly - Rolling Stones (RS 2012 On-Disc) Give Me One Reason - Tracy ChapmanLed Zeppelin - You Shook Me (not exactly loungy, but it's a laid-back blues with a great groove) I'll have to check my list when I get home since I'm sure there are more. In addition to rock and blues, I too like a lot of the laid-back, loungy, unusual bass songs. sleepy Acoustic Guitar: Seagull Maritime GT Playing Since: 8/11/2011Electric Guitar: Epiphone Les Paul Jr. Playing since: 9/25/2013Bass Guitar: Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Special Playing Since: 2/17/2014 "The road of life is rocky, and you may stumble too.
