DOWNLOAD CUSTOM SONG FOR YOUR PLATFORM
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

 

• PC:
  • DOWNLOAD our tool to install the fix
  • Copy file: "_p.psarc" to "dlc";

• Mac:
  • Follow the instruction over there : https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/
  • Copy file: "_m.psarc" to "~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Rocksmith2014/dlc/", 
    you might need to use "Command-Shift-G" to go inside ~/Library since it's hidden by default in the finder
     
• XBox 360: Place files: "_xbox" to "Content>0000000000000000>555308C0>00000002";
   
• PS3: Install files: "_ps3.psarc.edat" to "/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS31182/USRDIR/DLC",
  if the folder DLC does not exist, just create it.

Note: If you are intending on using Custom DLCs on a PS3 or XBox, you MUST jailbreak your console first! 
Hacking or jailbreaking a console is beyond the scope of what we are doing here, and if you are not comfortable with doing it, you may want to simply buy the PC version of the game.

Same thing, doesn't seem to work for everyone.

Make sure that if you already used the previous enabler(s) that you only have one version of the D3DX9_42.dll in your Rocksmith directory.

I don´t even have that in my Rocksmith directory 😂 is that the problem?

That is what the enabler does. It places the D3DX9_42.dll into the Rocksmith Directory

Well it keeps showing me the pirated/stolen copy of Rocksmith thing

My game isn't even launching in the first place without the mod. I get the loading screen then it immediately crashes to desktop. 

PC Specs:
i5-8600K
GTX1060 6Gb
8gb RAM
Windows 10 22H2

It's the Lean & Play edition as well. I'm gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling again to see if that fixes anything but I have my doubts.

Using RS2014 on Steam on Manjaro Linux.

This time I started the Installer with Wine, selected the Rocksmith directory and it worked flawlessly.

(If you are unable to select your steam directory because of strange "Linux" pathes in Wine, just temporarily move RS somewhere else, apply the patch, move it back.

If the download is still telling you it's not compatible, clear your browser cache and download it again

Same problem here, even using the `justincase` beta or the original remastered version from other sources I cant get the game to launch past the initial white screen. This error pops up when I debug the game `The program '[13064] Rocksmith2014.exe' has exited with code 3221225477 (0xc0000005) 'Access violation'.`

i got no luck either i dont have the file that chainbrain has on his video he shows so i have no where to drag this songs that i downloaded

Which file are you talking about? The D3DX9_42.dll? That is put there when you run the CDLC enabler. If it's not there after running it, then you're anti-virus probably blocked it.

My comment was about that when people want to play a guitar they either think of lead or rhythm and bass is usually not the first thing that comes to their minds; that said, "no bass" would make the songs shallow, especially if you have some decent audio output, so for the record - I don't diss bass 🙂

I have no idea what you are going on about.

If you are suggesting or suspicious that the enabler is malicious, you are free to not use it. No one is forcing you to use CDLCs. I understand completely where you are coming from.

I was (mistakenly) using freaking (🥲) bing at 2:30 AM instead of google (I don't like the company, but their browser is still on a completely different level, despite all the ads everywhere) and I'm sorry for that; I've realized my mistake and updated my comment prior to yours
