I Know im new here and all but for the ps3 version its possible to add your Custom DLC to the folder using ps3export and pexploit should also offer some assistance with this

Same here. First it lagged out and wouldn't let me pause and then had no sound. Had to exit the tab.

So, I got RS2014 for christmas and installed it right away, plus got myself Cherub Rock as DLC so I could get CDLC. However I had to reinitialize my PC yesterday and my Steam folder got corrupted, had to throw the whole thing out and reinstall everything, and now my CDLC has stopped working XD. It's truly bizarre to me how something like that can happen? Should I just reinstall the game again? Because I'm having the same issue as many other people on here, that the CDLC starts, prompts you to tune your guitar but then the screen just stays on the blank wall with the two amps without a playlist or difficulty preview being shown and the software doesn't react to anything anymore, except for tabbing out and shutting down.

@@GrittyMetal sounds like you forgot to put the dll back after you installed the game again.

@@firekorn no, I have  it in the folder, but it still won't work. I have photographic evidence too: just no idea how the attachment system on this site works XD. But I do have the .dll file and it still doesn't work; and before that question arises; yes, I do own Cherub Rock.

But first, are you sure it's correctly named (no (1) or something like it at the end)? it's in the root folder and not the dlc folder?

@@firekorn Nah, I figured out what it was; an outdated .dll file XD

PC: Copy file: "_p.psarc" to "<Rocksmith2014 folder>dlc"; <-------- HUH ???? What does that mean

 

what it means, is that the pc files are p.psarc and they go installed into rocksmith2014 folder under your dlc. if the format was any different, the file for ur pc won't work. Hope that helps.

Anybody having trouble getting customs to work in remastered update? I found changing the song app id to 221680 works.

so, I got all my old cdlc to work, but if I try downloading a new one it doesnt show up after putting it in my dlc folder. I tried getting a candlebox song, download, moved to dlc folder and nothing. What am I doing wrong

Mind if I ask if the DLL has ever been updated since its first release for the Remastered Edition?

@@kevrav Is it doing only for one specific songs? if yes, which one? if no, i would first check the integrity of the game files via steam.

yes it was Candlebox "cover me"  I can't seem to get it too work. Other songs I downloaded last night work just fine, just not that specific one.

Hi! Im new to this CDLC thing. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to convert dat files into psarc files. Do I have to go through the whole process of "creating CDLC"? Couldnt find anything on this topic.

@@SAPOTETO I'm not sure where you got dat files as they are RS1 DLC/CDLC and hasn't been used for around 4 years now... You would likely be better just deleting them and get the ones that are available here through CF.

Theyre RS1 DLC. Can I add those to the game's DLC if I own Rocksmith(2012)?
