Doing No Remorse by Metallica

 

I import the guitar pro file like usual, but when I do. I get a pop up note that says some of the frets in the imported tab are lower then the frets in the current track and will not be changed.. so I click okay and I noticed it changed all fretted notes above 18 to 0s, so I go and try to change them and instead of letting me change them to the proper fret, it just changes everything abouve 18 I set, to an X instead. How do I stop it from doing this so I can set the right frets for the song?

I replied to the question asked on SA because I saw it there first, but in this thread you mention an additional prompt about the fret count.  Even reproducing the conditions to get that prompt, I can't reproduce the problems you mentioned.  If you send me the project file and GP file (imported into the project file) that causes this, I can test it again.
