Hey guys,

I am usually pretty good about tones, but this one has me stumped. I need a tone for the Lead guitar, i just can't get the pitch right from any tone I have tried. There is a placeholder tone on the song now, you can test it out at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kwne78yz17d6ug2/AAC7wTQG9OtpfMQPlOreDUO6a?dl=0

Some info I did find is this.

Both the guitar and the vox organ were going through '60s Vox AC-30 amplifiers,” Wittman continues. “Both of them were miked with one U87; pretty simple. We generated the delay that makes the double upbeats on the organ with a Publison [digital delay unit]. The effect was recorded with the sound onto the track. Also, the guitars were compressed with an LA-2A.

I need a couple of tones for the lead guitar in Owner of a Lonely Heart. It uses one for the Intro, Verse and Solo each that are completely different from one another! Thanks :D

Anyone have tones already that match any of the parts in this song I am almost done charting.  Theres 4 different tone sounds and then a tight bass.  Sounds like phazer pedals will be needed and I will tinker but if anyone already has ones that match it would be sweet. This song looks pretty easy but sounds pretty awesome this was charted with a capo on the first fret so i plan a version with and without the capo the notes may be different once its adjusted for that.

Is not exactly a tone request, but I think is a good place to find this answer - If I'm in the wrong forum, fell free to delete/relocate.

What amp you guys use when trying to simulate a Hiwatt 100 amp?

thanks anyway.

If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?

I am working on my first ever song, and I am stuck because I can't seem to make tones that sound good (and this song has quite a few changes) It was probably a horrible choice for a first song because it is so complicated but I am so close now!

The song is Mantis by Umphrey's Mcgee

I am looking to figure out good tones to add for the whole song, but the big changes are at:

1:07

2:35

5:59

7:58

  10:16

I am doing a combo arrangement with a focus on the lead.

Any help would be appreciated! I spent forever getting this into EoF correctly so it is a huge bummer I am so stuck on this now!

Hello,

I'm currently trying to finish my first custom song Pink Floyd - Wearing the Inside Out and I need some help with tones.

1. The song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8lzru9NYBA

2. The CDLC: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Pink-Floyd_Wearing-the-Inside-Out_v1_p.psarc?w=AACYhQNGSlmoI1zWyb5v2vayUDpTv4duWC9vXxruSe5oaQ&dl=1&_subject_uid=60370115

(or you can try https://www.dropbox.com/s/3c8nii7isw96tb8/Pink-Floyd_Wearing-the-Inside-Out_v1_p.psarc?dl=0)

I would like to request the lead guitar tone David Gilmour used.

It also would be nice to ask an experienced charter about some issues in the song chart, but, I think, it's not the right place for it :)

If someone could get the guitar and possibly the bass that would be great. I can probably get the filter part of the song figured out. Thanks to whoever does this.

So I pretty much create CDLC from different video games to be put in a video game... Neato.

Oh sweet baby Jesus I created a Workshop so you can check out all the current projects that I'll going to splew upon you guys.

Heya

I am after rhythm and lead break  tones for Fu Manchu - Written In Stone.

- clean cdlc is here

- studio version is here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqijbjrCUCs

- lead breaks are at 1:33 and 2:42

thanks in advance

I found a lot of 'pretty close' tones for the rhythm in other tracks but I'm a newbie so would really appreciate some help from someone that knows what they're doing, it will go a long way towards me having a starting point to figuring out where to go on my own.

cheers

I need tones for the lead and rhythm guitar.

Here's the CDLC page,

There are several other songs with custom tones from the same album.. Is there any reason why you can't use the tones from those?

Where would I get the tones from the other songs?

Download the .psarc file for the song you want the tones from. In the Toolkit, when you're making a song, to the right of tones there's an option to "Import". Click this, then find the .psarc you want the tones from, and import them to the Toolkit. Then add or edit the tones in to the arrangements you have for the song.

If there are places where the tones change in the song (possibly clean, distortion, and lead, especially if the lead uses some effects), you may need to put tone changes in EoF. Here's a post on that if you need it.

Edit: Oh, and thank the person you borrow the tones from and acknowledge them in your release notes!
