Windows 11 showing false positive for Trojan in application

FYI if your application wont start check your windows security. I had to exclude the installation folder and allow the application to run.

Trojan:Win32/Yomal!rfn is the quarantined alert

Adding steps in case this happens to others:

  • Open App Windows Security

  • Click Virus & threat protection "sheild"

-Under Virus & threat protection settings

    --Click Manage settings

---Under Exclusions - add exclusion for your folder

  • Open App Windows Security

  • Click Virus & threat protection "sheild"

    -Under Current Threats

--Click "Allowed threats" or "Portection history"

---Should see where it has quarantined the app

--Click on one of these events it should expand and you should see an "Allow" option
