new pc having issues after installing from steam

steam downloads for rs and rs2014 went ok. re-established accounts at steam (obviously) and ubisoft.

opening rs2014, interface is larger than pc screen and no sound playing. appreciate any help to get this up and running.

    graphics solved. still no sound and fretboard fails after an attempt.
