About Direct Connect Mode

Has anyone managed to disable the Direct Connect mode in the Steam version of Rocksmith 2014 using a mod? I'm from Japan. Please tell me how. I can no longer select the Realton cable. Is it possible to get it back as explained in the GitHub RS MOD?
