I do like the Gen Z subtheme for this week!!!! I still have a feeling of having missed out the bands from the 2010s....

Linkin Park - Somewhere I Belong > fun song to play!!! I need to try it more and get better...

Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home > Great song that I haven't heard and also a great challenge for my class!!! The solo is pretty difficult for me, after not playing for a while.... I hope I can get better...

I'm having a problem since Rocksmith doesn't recognize many of the songs I created with the pitch shifter... I tried changing the App ID and also de DLC Key, but it hasnt work... do you guys have any advice???

Yea unfortunatley I dont know, but i agree with drand that discord customsforge is probably the quickest way to find a solution. I don't use cfsm as i found it to cause more issues than it solved. Luckily i have a pitch pedal so i dont need to modify psarcs.

since its blackfriday season i strongly reccomend anyone who doesnt have a pitch pedal to buy one or to learn how to use the reason for the free virtual pitch pedal routing (ive always been too lazzy to figure it out xD)

I stopped using CFSM when Rocksmith started accepting songs 🥳 even though I didn't buy the Cherub Rock song (which I couldn't because it was not listed anymore 😢). I only use Rocksmith DLC Builder for adjusting songs to B standard on bass (it has a tuning pitch option, but I only used it to change from A440 to A220 and I don't know if it does what you intend...) and RSMods for showing the notes on screen.

I normally use a pedal shifter to change the tuning on the bass to Eb, D, C#, Bb (5 string) and do the math (-1, -2, -3, etc)

I thought I had all that I wanted, but there's always something missing...

I think I played most of the notes on the same string as hammer ons and couldn't get to 90% 😅

Linkin Park bass is in Bb Standard, not Eb Standard, I don't know if anyone noticed this before.

This wasn't difficult, though was quick, but then came the tapping part 😆

I had surprisingly good recognition here, and many of my mistakes were recognized.

However, I think 10 is too much for this, more like 9, because of the difficult tapping section.

the scores are below i was awol because work and rocksmith got broken so went to rocksmith plus. guess what i bought a month of rocksmith plus and 2 days ago rocksmith 2014 fixed itself and is working again hurray??? also i was able to fix my bends and chugs not getting registered :D!!i actually got the scores last saturday before i was able to fix my issues just didnt post them. Over a year of owning a FX processor and i just find 2 days ago i can get a direct input of my guitar into my laptop instead of having a preset selected in the prcoessor which was causing latency and those issues which are fixed now so hurray!!!

Another 10 tries has leaded me to rage quit

Great job on that 100% @VegetaxGuts 🏆 I was also struggling with constant crashes related to my Focusrite ASIO setup, but once I figured it out it never crashed again. Definitely takes some tinkering, Rocksmith will test your patience.

@loudly I think what you did with the E standard conversion is what @aNDESmASAMUNE was asking about, can you point them in the right direction?

Life has been passing me by for the past few weeks so I was only able to squeeze in a 30 minutes of playing this week. Hopefully once we get to the Christmas period I'll be able to breathe and play some more but that's a few weeks away yet...

Always had a soft spot for Lana Del Rey's first album, completely different to what I usually listen to but it's one of my all time favourites

Took me a minute or so to get my head around the picking pattern, surprised by that seeing as Linkin Park are usually pretty straight-foward guitarwise

This is one of my all time favourite songs and is pretty much an anthem for anyone getting into alternative music in the mid to late 2000s; the opening classical style part was one of the reason why I wanted to play guitar.

Really hope I can be a bit more active on here soon but by the looks of things that definitely won't be starting this week.

I was very close to drop it actually. But I thought I can't just leave your week and I must try again.
