Game crashing after tuning on custom songs

I just got my audio interface working with rocksmith, and im getting sound perfectly fine and everything, but right after i tune on a custom song, it just freezes between the 2 cabs and the completely crashes to desktop. everything was working perfectly fine yesterday with the realtone cable. I'm not always the smartest when it comes to doing anything related to modding in general, so hopefully its something pretty simple im missing? Im running on windows 10 and a gen 1 or 2 scarlett 2i4 (i honestly cannot remember which for the life of me, ive owned it forever). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
