FOr obvious reasons (lots of files, Rocksmith start-up taking forever ... ) I sort my files using three different folders, that I then move into the dlc folder accordingly:
A) All files with bass only arragement
B) All standard tuned songs, that I play with a standard tuned guitar
C) All dop tuned songs, that are gonna be played with a dropped guitar.
In order to automatically put the songs into these folders, I use the following renaming sceme:
\\<tuning>\\<arrangements>\\<artist>_<title>_<tuning>_<version>_<arrangements>
Having the arragements seperated, I can also go for Bass+Lead only arrangements for multiplayer. Furthermore, the version tag allows for a quick decision which song to delete.
THis works pretty well on maybe 80% of the songs. But as soon as the LEAD tuning differs from the BASS tuning (and the BASS tuning usually being the primary arrangement), the manual work sets in. I'd like to have the rename sceme <tuning> to take over the value of a pre set arrangement (i.e. BASS, if it does not exist: BASS).
Also, it would be really great to handle the hughe bulk of "other" tunings somehow.
