i deleted all the folders except dlc(for obvious reasons) and reinstalled the game and rsmods, i basically did a whole reset at this point, idk what to do sound doesnt even surpass 48000hz

this all happened after adjusting volume, in playback and recording, but even reverting has no changes... help! resets, anything!

Did it use to work and are you using the same output device?

Just in case you aren't already doing so, make sure you are using wired analog speakers or headphones, not USB.

I have the same issue, bluetooth headphones that have always worked in the past. Logitech G533 Windows 11.

I just ran into this same problem, I have new hardware, but looks like it might be a windows update issue.

Same thing happened to me a couple days ago. Headset has always worked previous suddenly doesnt - ive tried literally everything.

EDIT: Appears Windows had a hot fix. Updated windows again and it worked. When I re launched after the update it was back on CD quality so changed to DVD again. It seems like last update it would say DVD but wouldnt actually be idk.

Same here, has anyone found a way to fix it?

Operating system is Windows 11 and for me, it also stopped working after an update. All drivers are up to date and I wasn't able to find anything on this sadly.
