In some CDLC's the sound is very low. Knobs on my bass are all the way up. It is only for some songs. Take for instance ZZTop's La Grange. From some things I've read, it is the way the author created it. Is there a way that I can fix it myself ?

Sure, use RSToolkit, Click on Import Package, find tone that too low, edit its volume value, save package at same folder you store unpacked CDLC, then click Generate and place it in your customs folder(Beware of duplicates or you'll get freeze after tuning), this is short algorithm on how to correct bassguitar tone volume..

Oh, OK, I thought in your post you may have forgotten to put it in.  No problem.
