For me,  the main purpose of Rocksmith is to learn new songs and tighten up known ones as well.  After learning a song, I like to record it to a guitarless backing track to see how well I really stand up within the song.

I find this a great tool to really tighten up my playing with no one to fall back on.

 

 I would like to propose that there be a link to get the backing track for said CLDC on the download page if it's known.
