January 9, 20241 yr Hey there, I'm sure this has been asked before and I just search for the wrong keywords, but is there a way to convert songs from the original RS so as to play them with RS2014, stuff like sunshine of your love and a couple of others. TIA
January 9, 20241 yr If you do not own RS1 you are out of luck. If you do own RS1 you can purchase the import tool on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/32387/ Be advised that there are 5 songs from RS1 that will not import over due to licensing. Unfortunately one of those is the song you named. When you logged in the past couple of days there should have been an agreement that you had to agree in order to continue to this site. In doing so you agreed that you did read that, and one of this points on that page, which are contained in the FAQ and Guideline links above for you to reference, those 5 songs are off limits to being converted to CDLC.
January 10, 20241 yr Author Those were of course the 5 I was after, I would of course not dream of finding those in the db of custom DLC. I was just wondering if there was a way to convert them into 2014 format since I did acquire them legally. Anyhow if it's a tabù subject as per community rules I will not be reopening that can of worms and thank you for pointing it out for me.

Hello, if I buy the import tool on Steam am I supposed to convert the rs1compatibilitydlc_p.psarc file or do I need something else? I am only looking for one song: Don't fear the reaper from the Blue Oyster Cult Thx

I am only looking for one song: Don't fear the reaper from the Blue Oyster Cult You do not need to convert anything. The tool is to copy the base songs from the original Rocksmith to Rocksmith 2014 so that they are available and playable in Rocksmith 2014. If you do not have the original Rocksmith, it will do nothing. Don't Fear The Reaper was a DLC song. It is completely unavailable, it delisted.
