Rocksmith on steam has become slow recently, not during playback but the menus and especially when trying to rewind through a song Its so slow . Is It a matter of deleting cache ?? Or a reinstall Don't want to lose data

Normally if my game's going slow it's either windows update or windows defender with high disk usage causing it. I'd check in task manager while the game is running to see if anything weird is going on before trying a reinstall.
