I'm attempting to make a CDLC and after I import the guitar pro tab into EOF I only get a few notes showing up at the beginning of the song then it goes blank for the remainder. It seems to be a legit tab as I can view the entire song in guitar pro 6 so I'm not sure what the problem is. Anyone ever ran into this before?

Maybe GP6 is changing the file? EOF can't read .gpx files. You could try saving the file as .Gp5 files in Tuxguitar.

 

Does the GP file use repeats? This doesn't always work well when importing into EOF, from what I've seen. You might have to make the repeats yourself.

There are no known issues with repeats in EOF's GP import, but I can only fix problems when people bring them to my attention. If the file is in GP5 format or older and it doesn't import correctly, please post it so I can check it out.

yes, I seem to have a gp3 file, I renamed it gp5 and it shows now. Thank you very much!
