@@natasftw Thanks! I pretty much just started playing when I got Rocksmith 2014 in January, but I've been dedicating 2-3 hours every single day since. I'm really proud of the progress I've made, but it wouldn't be possible without this game :-)

@@noahfence Keep at it! The opening of that song took me literally dozens of plays to perfect, and from what I can tell it's even harder on guitar than it is on bass.

The pull-off from the A to the hammer-on on the E is what's kiling me....

Tip: Never buy a cheap guitar. Her Impossible setup accurately. Miss a lot of notes of chords. (Cort z42).

Not very good but its a start, I find the lead part quite hard.

Hello all, from now on I have switched over to bass. I really want to focus on that instrument for a while to see if it's something I want to continue with. After all I did buy this from my brother!

I try to avoid using a pick at all times to quickly harden my fingers as they are pretty soft and vulnerable on my right hand. Anyway here is what I managed to get:

I too want to buy  a bass guitar, selected look like my a good guitar Ltd F-100FM, only bass is Ltd F-154DX. I like shape body, and enough quality for beginner. Possible at end next week i get bass.

I dont understand why always fail chords slide in rhythm (MC) Cult. Tried different speed, early, late, always fail.

p.s. It played with normal guitar and thick strings 11-56 - isnot one problem with chords. Only with slides.

I am having the same problem in the lead arrangement. The chord slides just will not register. I have tried pretty much everything I can think of to get it to work. Different guitars with different strings as well. Maybe its a problem with the custom?

@ Lead, MC or what ?

 

upd. me seems, i jumped, accidentally, over of my limit in lead MC tomorrow. i cant  get more 97% today. And get colossus.

@ Which is it  section? . i remember only one section with slides in lead, it is in an ending song. 2 str. 13-15 frets. It work OK. Maybe you say about 4 section, with tapping? It is very Hard section for my. Most my miss is in this section.
