Are "no bass" audio CDLC version should be interesting for some of us (bass player) ?

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I was wondering if "no bass" audio version of CDLC, made from already shared full track audio's CDLC, should be interesting for some of us here ?
They would be especially intended as bactrack for bass player...

We don't always have original audio Stems/Tracks, but Music Audio Separation is now more easily done with some IA tools (such as Demucs) with good results to remove bass track, and swapping audio inside a CDLC can be done with a not very difficult work (if you know how to do it!)...

My first try was for "Mika - Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)" as explained in:

https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/67847

And I could share some others, and surely with better quality now...

What is advisable to do to share them afterwards between us (and to not create confusion with original CDLC)?
Is there a special place to put them, or is it possible to share them as usual?
Of course this would not be done without the agreement of the original creator (or if he does'nt  object we make it)...
Or if he want to use the crafted audio track to make an alternative CDLC version himself (just by asking it)... 😉

Thanks in advance for the advises.

PS: By the way, do you know this Youtube channel?

As long as you (try to if they're afk) get permission from the original charter it should be fine to upload it as normal. Just give them the credit, link to the old version and label it as a bass multi-track and it should be fine. Might also be a good idea to mention that it was made with AI separation in the author so people don't confuse it with a "proper" multi-track. Looks like you already know all this based on the one you've already uploaded though.

Hi Coldrampage,

Thanks for the directions. It seems perfectly fine to me...
I will inform you and share as soon as it starts to be ready! 😉

See u!

As a bass player, I find the idea potentially useful, but if it's exactly the same chart I'd prefer to have it available under the same entry as the original CDLC in Ignition.

Started by updating my previous "No Bass" version from Mika's Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) - https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/67847
Now better audio quality (thanks to AI audio separation Demucs Hybrid v4) and a real bass tone...

Anothers "No Bass" CDLC will come soon...

Just for information, I made a new "No bass" audio version of "I Want Your Love" by Chic, for bass players, using Audio Separation Hybrid Demucs v4.

Many thanks to Mystic530 who allowed me for making and sharing this version from his own CDLC (https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/73356).
Enjoy and let me know if U like it!

Or if U would like me to make (or help you  make yourself ) another ones...

And Merry Christmas to all!
