I see a lot of songs on here that say "Riff play this Riff. There is no such part of a song called Riff. That is a motion to replay part of a song that you may be having trouble with.

The parts of a song are:

 

Intro. When you begin a song, you don't want to come in at full force. ...

Verse. Many people feel that the verses of a song are only there to give the brain a break before hammering it again with the chorus.

Pre-Chorus. But not just yet... ...

Chorus. ...

Bridge / Solo. ...

Outro. ...

Also a lot of songs I have downloaded don't have Riffs where they are really needed. I am just now deciding if I want to learn how to create CDLC's  but be assured if I do they will be correct.

 

Charting songs is a long process, but if you want things named right you'll probably want to dive in real hard and learn to hate love EOF.
