Custom songs load but notes don’t appear

Hey guys, I’ve just upgraded to a new to me (2019) MacBook Pro 15. I’ve installed everything, ran the patch and brought all my dlc over from my other MacBook. I tried loading a dlc song and it loaded up the screen, I tuned and when the song started the fretboard never appeared. Does anyone know what went wrong or what can be done?

    **Update, for anyone else having this issue. I had initially downloaded the NEW patches as this is a much newer macbook than my previous one but they didn't work. Neither the x64 or the other. The patch that works is the one that's posted in the how to tutorial on here.

    All working perfectly fine now! Back to my P-bass I go!
