Editing the title or artist of a CDLC

Sorry for the noob question...

Sometimes there are small typos in a CDLC's title, or there are songs where the artist's name includes "The" in a way that makes the CDLC appear under the letter T instead of the band's initial. These are so small issues that I really wouldn't want to bother the CDLC author with a request for a fix, but still my OCD screams out loud when I see them in my songs list 😅. I would like to fix these myself... which is the correct tool and procedure for such small changes?

Thank you!

CFSM is probably the tool for this. It has an automated tool for fixing the sort of songs/artist that start with "the" and you can also manually rename songs/artist with typos with the program by right clicking in them and using the "edit song information" screen.

Here's a guide on how to use cfsm.

I ended up using the manual method. I figured out intuitively that the values on the left column are those shown by the game, and the values on the right column are those used by the game only for sorting, so I fixed all typos by editing the left-side fields, and all sorting issues by editing the right-side fields 🙂
