Not sure if this is gear, but... any decent alternative to Digitech Drop For Bass?

Featured Replies

I'm just curious, I've started playing Rocksmith with guitar and recently picked up the bass.

Since it seems to be known that the digitech drop doesn't like bass as much, I'm curious if someone has used Reaper or some other software based scale changing as I only have one bass and it would be nice to be able to flip between the tunings quickly without necessarily needing to re-tune.

Any suggestions? (other than getting another bass and I'm working on it. 🙂

Not sure if it works better for bass than the standard drop pedal but here's a guide on reaper pitch shifting. It assumes you're using rsasio so idk how it'd work if ya using the rs cable.
