December 30, 20213 yr So with the current intro skip an NVME SSD is required or the game will crash... Well my new computer doesnt have an NVME but instead has a SATA SSD. Since I know how the current method works thanks to this link: I decided to try different methods to make the intro skip slightly slower by allowing 1 or 2 of the "ad" screens to appear first. With only 1 added screen I was able to successfully load the game significantly faster without crashing. This is the method I used: (If you dont understand this line, refer to the link above) Push register1 "TEST_OBJECT" "VideoName" "..\\..\\GFxAssets\\videos\\intro\\UbiLogo.usm" "State" "LegalScreen" "UbisoftScreen" "Images" "logo" "ID" "logo" "File" "ubisoft_logo.png" 2 Instead of "BlackScreen" I simply added the loading screen before that which was "LegalScreen" I suspect that even on an HDD this method would work simply by moving up the load screen chain until you find which one works for you. 2021-12-29 18-59-20.mp4 Lightspeed seems fitting enough I tested opening and closing the game multiple times, and so far it has worked every time on a WD blue 500gb SATA SSD (relatively low end)
