So I am trying to do a cdlc for Human Fly by The Cramps. Youtube of the song is linked below. Poison Ivy plays lead. She plays a Gretsch 6120 with heavy strings, Fender Pro Reverb amp and a Fulltone tremolo pedal. I might be able to figure that out in tones, or just misappropriate a surf tone and go with it. But I have no idea how to come close to the tone of the rhythm guitar on this track. It sounds kind of buzzy like a fly. Any suggestions?

I feel the tone from the Miserlou dlc would definitely work pretty well for that, even if just as base.

Sounds distorted to hell and EQed to death, might be able to use a black metal tone for it?

It's a bit late here so I can't test one at the min or see how the few I've got that might work stack up for sure, but maybe this one'll do.

Might need some work as I'd consider it more of a lead tone than a rhythm one but it's the most scuffed buzzy tone I've got. 
 

Although from a quick search I think it's probably a fuzz pedal instead, so if you want to be accurate I'd use one of those instead. Maybe it'd still need the EQ to kill it, not too familiar with using fuzz pedals.
