In all seriousness, SOAD taught me a lot about stereotypical music patterns and progressions and how to break them to make them something slightly 'else', while not making them sound bad. Also, I may not be familiar enough  with BROCKHAMPTON to hear much guitar, unless you mean tabbing vocal melodies/keyboards(samples, synths).

P.S. Midwest and/or twinkly emo is harder than SOAD songs in ways.
