Different Tunings between Lead & Rhythm

Featured Replies

I tried searching but didn't see anything, apologies if this is already covered somewhere.

I'm about to start work on a CDLC which the Lead & Rhythm have different tunings. I see that you can select different tunings for parts in the RocksmithToolkitGUI, but I am just wondering if this causes any issues?

I've never encountered a CDLC with different tunings and since the songs in Rocksmith only display a single tuning, I'm expecting this may be an issue

It causes no issues whatsoever and is perfectly fine to have all tracks in separate tunings. You shouldn't even need to select the tunings in the toolkit since the tab import into eof should handle it for you and be selected automatically when you add the xml to the toolkit.

Rocksmith only displays the tuning for the path you are currently on. If you're on bass you see the bass tuning and the same for all the other tracks, everything should be fine.
