I don't mean to be the guy asking dumb questions and showing up late to the party. Could this be why my cdlc's are not showing up in rocksmith?

I followed the tutorials, (dll in steamapp->common->rocksmith2014remastered->dlc) (I have cherub rock, which is working in game) (Songs downloaded are from this site, all psarc placed in dlc folder).

currently uninstalling the game and starting over. 

Am I missing the current dll?

dll just goes in the rocksmith2014 folder, not the dlc folder

2016 dll should still work since that's when the remastered update happened and nothing has really changed since.

My steamapp folder is in the steam library folder in my D drive. And steam itelf is in my c drive. Would that matter?

No, that doesn't matter.
