Custom Tuned Content.

I am fairly new to using the CDLC, so pardon my ignorance. I have multiple songs in custom tuning I've acquired and have issues with the tuner when I try to play the songs. Most of the time I hang in E Standard but dropping below D drop C and higher custom tunings as well from the CDLC dont seem to work for me on bass and a few on guitar.  I've dropped those strings to almost  loose enough to change the strings for songs like Shadows on the Sun or a few Korn songs and the tuner never catches for me. If anyone has any solutions it would be appreciated.
