Hi, I'm happy to have won a championship for the first time, I'm excited! But I wanted to understand one thing, what does "and levels up to Masterclass Rhythm if he accepts this promotion!" Mean?

That I have to reach 100% score on the same song to get to the next level?

It's not like that. Simply, according to the rules if you achieve over 99% accuracy for the guitar or over 99.5% for the bass in songs of maximum difficulty for the class (3/5/7) you will be promoted to a higher class. You can decline if you don't feel strong enough to compete in the higher class, hence my question of acceptance :)

Played Jump and The Oral Cigarettes song and I think they should be swapped. For the solo alone, Jump is a straight 8 and the other song is more of a 7 to me on lead. Also, I would love to have Eruption/You Really Got Me as a GoG song, it's a fair tribute to one of the greatest guitar players ever

It was difficult for me to rate Van Halen song, because with the exception of the solo is not too difficult (I think it's 5), but a short solo it's strong 9, so I averaged it to 7. But no problem, we can swap songs, just let someone else confirm.

 

As for GoG, if I am not mistaken, now there should be a week pause after 4 weeks with GoG. Can be done next week, I think @@Rodman will take care of it :)

Song was downgraded to 6.5, which is the most accurate rating i think - we stay in adv until we deserve leveling up.

 

Trying those both songs in quiestion now to give my 2 difficulty cents!

Yes, i can do that.. There is no strict rule to have a pause between GoG tracks... so

Very fun to play and addictive!

 

 

I´d leave it that way. oral cigarettes is more like an easy mc than hard adv, (8) - yeah.

Jump is hard to rate - as Nacho says solo is a clear 9, as Micks says rest is supereasy, generally i tend to state that song shall be rated by hardest part, as a 7ish player should be able to master a 7ish song, in that case i´d go compromise way (7)

 

 

 

Van Halen - Jump

 

Pretty new CDLC. I think it's good and Jump is Van Halen's most popular song, so I chose it as a tribute.

I haven't had time to practice it, but I think it's a strong 8 on Lead. However, you can make changes to rating if something is not right.
