Tried the bass too and the detection is not working but i passed the tuning with my guitar (emulated bass). The pitch is probably wrong as is the tuning in the toolkit i supposed.

I should check it again and reupload it

It's been a few weeks.  I actually have free time again.  We'll see how much I improve on this in the next couple of days =)

I did not get all the way to 90% this week. But im still happy with my progress.

@@MaZtoR You hard work impressive! A lot of practice yields the results. Good example for others, i`m sure you now  get pleasure from the result, playing a song and and your overall level of increased this week. You become a dangerous rival :)

I think I could easily reach >97% if down-tuning didn't make the game stop recognizing some of my notes. Anyone else had experience with this? Is it the way I've strung the guitar? dirtiness of the strings?

What strings you to using? For good recognizing Eb 10-48,  EbDb 10-52, D standart too 10-52, and DdropC 10-56 and low 11-56(58).

It is if your guitar well tuned. Use tuner for  check.

I guess 98% is my limit this week, I can even make 98% in master difficulty but 99% just too much for me!

@@ScottLP I had the same problem when I played with 9-42 strings, any tuning below Eb I could not get note recognition.  I changed to 11-48 this week and the game has been fine at detecting notes in this tuning.

those strings are great for recognition but are going to kill your fingers when trying to do bends. With the help of @ I will create a thread which will have some tutorials and some basic information on which strings are better for what tunings.

I'm using 9-42 at the moment, didn't really take into account different types of strings and just bought the first thing I saw. 10-52 sounds good but do you think it will affect E Standard tuning at all? Is there any brand you'd recommend?

String Tension 101

Best choice (universal) for RS with different tuning 10-52 (little hard to do bends for beginners, but possible). if not very like metal 10-48 :)

The Norse gods are smiling down at me today..  closing in on that 90%.

Will be trying to improve my score on this song but man that beginning part is annoying. Can't seem to get in a groove with it. String skipping with a pick is tough lol and Rocksmith doesn't register finger picking too well so I end up with more misses than when just using a pick. 

Please look at the song selection list spreadsheet as I have removed the songs that were entered that do not qualify to be chosen. Please update your selections while adhering to the Rules of the customs selection process. If a song is not available on this site or its an OFFICIAL DLC it has been removed from the spreadsheet. The songs that remain have had the links added to them for easy access. I have also sorted the list alphabetically to make it easier to find your name and have removed the duplicate names of people who had added their names more than once.
