I don't pick them, the Random Number Generator does. I only "pick" the songs that fill the gaps.

A bad performance, i admit ;) i can play that now to my satisfacton, you gotta believe me that time

 

 

@@Rodman I enjoyed your take on Sweet Child of Mine.  I like how you transitioned between the chords and the lead parts.  Very recognizable rendition on a tough song.

 

For my attempt I have to disclose that recorded the first solo part separately.  It was take 2 of 20 or so, and towards the end I couldn't even play the first 6 notes without making a mistake.  You know how when you repeat a word over and over it starts to sound weird and not even a word?  Yeah, it was that. 

My daughter is singing the vocals trying out our new Shure SM48 microphone.  The microphone seems a big improvement, pretty happy with it, especially for the $40 price tag.  I recorded it with the Gresh semi-hollow body guitar in the photo.  I'm really falling in love with how it records.  I tried to put the metal distortion on the first part, but it didn't fit with the rest of the song so I went with the clean tone.

 

Thanks for pushing me to do this one, it has been a favorite for me since it came out, and I thought I would never be able to play it!

I started to play guitar almost 3 months ago... I consider myself a Beginner / Intermediate player for now... I'll post more images of my scores playing bass and guitar, but for now this is all I have.
