Modifying 2012 DLC

My problem:

 

Blue Oyster Cult, Don't Fear the Reaper dlc for original rocksmith has the leads split across two arrangements for no good reason

 

I want to merge the leads into one arrangement. Is it possible to edit official original rocksmith dlc?
