can i play my old rocksmith 1 songs on 2014?

First off, I apologize if this has been asked before.  I was unable to find it anywhere on the forums.  I own both rocksmith, and rocksmith 2014, however I do not own rocksmith 1 on steam.  I had the disc from a long time ago.  I was wondering if theres any way to play rocksmith 1 tracks on 2014 without buying a new copy from steam for friggin 30 bucks, plus 10 for the damn disc tool.   Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
