Guitar tone pack?

Hey guys, I made a couple customs for RS1 and have started up with my first one for 2014.  I have a couple tabbed out, but I am awful at getting a decent guitar tone.  I am making metal songs, but some of them have clean parts too.  I have no idea what I'm doing when I go into the amp/loop etc, I'm a newer guitar player.
