hmm, looks I will need RR for this.  At least up to the part I failed drop d tuning was not needed.

just went through the minis he bear song in RR, it does not use the low E at all.  So no need to drop d tune to play it.

Cool dude, you'll do fine! Just remember to use Riff Repeat for when you get stuck. Can be easily over looked, it's a useful tool.

I was trying to let those who wish to play it, they don't need to tune to Drop D as chart says.  Standard tuning works fine for the song as the low E string is not used in the song.

So Love Shack is a cover of the B-52s original.  The B-52s got there start in Athens, Georgia around the same time as another new-age band there, R.E.M.  Different sounds but same time and place.  Ironic since we played R.E.M. last week.

I believe I remember reading that the Love Shack burned down recently.  It was thought to be a tin shack where Kate Pierson lived for a while and where they wrote Rock Lobster.
