I'm new to this to begin with, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.

I purchased the Foo Fighters and The Strokes DLC in the XBOX version of Rocksmith 2014, I don't know if I'm posting this question on the correct place, but my question is that if there is any way to transfer those songs from XBOX to PC/MAC. I've tried googling and youtube, but nothing seems to help, I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I have another question, from them i was able to extract the .xml and .ogg and other files which to my understanding contain everything needed or should contain everything needed, the only thing is i keep getting an error when attempting to add the .xml file using the custom song toolkit, the error message is "You are using an old version of Eof application, please update first".

You can't go directly from RS1 to 2014 using the toolkit.

You would have to import the XML into EOF and export a RS2014 compatible one, convert the audio with Wwise etc.
